Elevator jam prevention

YOUNG JIN ELEVATOR

A mind that
puts the safety
of passengers first

Among elevator accidents, hand pinching accidents occur frequently. Hand trapping accidents do not occur very often in adults, but they occur frequently in infants and children. Therefore, the Ministry of Public Safety and Security strengthened the elevator door gap and safety standards based on the accident analysis results.

The standard gap for the existing elevator doors was 10mm, but it was changed to 5mm to prevent hand jamming accidents.

As it frequently happens to infants and young children, it is necessary to pay special attention to safety, and to prevent children from being caught, a warning sign is attached to the elevator door and a silicone band is attached to the gap to pay more attention to safety accidents.
